Redmi Note 4 - Solution of Automatically Contacts Merging Issue

Problem occurring in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 & Note 3 Mobile. My contacts are getting merge automatically and showing wrong profile pic and name while dialing other contact number. I had spend a lot of time in finding a appropriate solution but didn't found anything. According to me there are no any available solution for this issue.

I am sharing here a 100% working solution with screenshot for this specific issue.  Hope this will help to solve your problem.

Follow few steps : 

IMP : Before doing this save your all contacts in your google account. so that you don't have chances of your data loss.

a). Go to the Setting ->  Click on Permission under APP SETTING section.
 

b). Now you will see list of "Permissions", Click on Permission and then click on "Contact & Dialer".
Now Disable it.

As soon as you make it disable, you all contact will be gone. Do not worry about you contact. Its safe.

c). Now enable it again.
 
d). Go to the Setting -> Sync under Accounts -> select google as shown on below screen.

e). Just uncheck all and check only on contact to sync the google contact again back to your mobile device.

Definitely this will help you out from your contact merging problem.

How to Sync Whatsapp Contacts to Google Account in Android

A background process is running in mobile OS which is associated with Whatsapp. When you install whatsapp it will add it's account in your mobile OS setting. You can check (Setting => Accounts => Sync =>List will display here) that will allow it to use it's Sync Adapter. Which can periodically sync data from app to server, bcoz of this whenever any new contact is added in your phone it will automatically get sync by whatsapp, so next tie when you open your whatsapp you  will find your new contact listed there.

Follow few steps : 

IMP : Before doing this make sure you have added all your contacts in your account.

a). Go to the Setting ->  Click on Sync under Acount section.
 

b). Now you will see list of "Whatsapp" options in below list, Click on whattsapp and again click on arrow icon next to whatsapp.

 
c). In next screen you will see more option the bottom of screen. Click on more button then click on sync now option listed there.

Contact Synced.
